It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Best of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sanka and Veronica Sanka (Noroski) of Munhall, PA.; and her husband David H. Best. She is survived by: her sister Loretta Terrick; her nephew Jeffrey Smith (Nicole); her great-nephew Caden Smith; and her friends, Beverly, Cliff Hines and Angie Hines. She is also survived by 6 other nieces and nephews.
