It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Lyle Upton of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carey Upton and Ruby Clevenger Upton; his sister Carol Upton Fowlkes; his father-in-law John Spargal; and his brother-in-law Daryl Spargal.

He is survived by : his wife Sue Ann; his daughter Laurel Lee; his brother Bradford Upton (Laura); his mother-in-law Joyce Spargal; his nieces, Jenna Lee Smith (Jason), Leanne Fowlkes, Mary Claire Upton and Caroline Grace Upton; and his nephew Daniel Fowlkes (Christina). He is also survived by great niece and great nephews; and many friends.
