He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Curry and Mary G. Lawson; his wife Judy; and his siblings, Betty Murray, Martha Christofel, Jean Curry, Myra Lou Lovell, Mary Ann Curry, Robert and James Curry.
He is survived by: his son David Curry (Mandy); his grandson Spencer Curry of Middletown, Virginia; and his stepdaughter Jody Fleming (Lloyd) of Long Beach, California.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
