He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theiss and Alice Theiss (Kennet); and his sisters, Patricia Belback, Marcia Theiss and Stephanie Lasich.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Theiss (Gilmore); his sons, William Theiss (Kelly) of Jefferson Hills, PA and J. T. Thomas (Jaclyn) of Jefferson Hills, PA; his grandchildren, Landon Theiss, Kiptyn Theiss and Clara Renee Thomas; and his siblings, Thomas Theiss (Sherry) of Penn, PA, David Theiss of New Ringgold, PA and Shirley Klinzing (Carl) of South Park, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
