He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Whitmer and Vera Whitmer; and his brothers, Jim Whitmer (Linda) and Jack Whitmer (Gloria). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bamberger; his daughters, Cindy Davis (Richard) and Marcy Maletta (Mike); his grandson Kraig Davis; and his brothers, Don Whitmer (Linda), Tom Whitmer (Sallie) and Paul Whitmer (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
