We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Richard E. Stewart Sr. of Jefferson, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emily T. Stewart (Smith); his parents, Roscoe R. Stewart and Helena Stewart (Klaas); and his siblings, Anna Hilbert and Fred Stewart.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard E. Stewart, Jr. (Vicki) of Abbottstown and Craig A. Stewart of Hanover; his grandchildren, Julianna, Trenton and Colton; and his siblings, Margaret Lingg (John) and Karl Stewart.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (32 W Chestnut St, Hanover, PA 17331).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 32 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, PA 17331.
