With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald E. Chidester Sr. of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 86. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ronald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Everett Chidester and Wanda Eileen Chidester; and his brothers, Eddie and Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Chidester; his children, Ronald E. Chidester, Jr. (Joyce Kelly) and Kelly Chidester-Keruskin (David Best); his sister Rita; and his pet Linus. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
