He is survived by: his wife Myong Soon Hiner; his son Adam Hiner; his daughter-in-law Nicole; his granddaughters, Abby, Olivia and Charlotte; his former wife Elizabeth Bracken Hiner; his daughter Christine Harmon (David); his granddaughter Brianna of Frederick, MD; his son Oliver Hiner (Colleen); his grandchildren, Samuel and Madelyn of Mooresville, NC.; and his sisters, Janice Smith (David) of Bethlehem, PA and Paulette Smigo of Batavia, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and held a deep love for his extended family—cousins, aunts, uncles.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to two causes close to his heart: Wounded Warrior Project and Feed the Children.
