She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward John and Margaret Dennisson Puhl (Levering); and her sister Anne Florence "Nancy" Puhl (Robert M. Hoag). She is survived by: her husband Robert Moore Hoag; her children, Nancy Rasweiler (Bill), David Hoag (Lisa), Robert Hoag (ChristyAnn), Janet Hoag (Robert Clevenger) and Jonathan Hoag (Mary Jane); her grandchildren, Alyssa Rasweiler, Kelly Hoag, Ian Rasweiler (Amanda), Hannah Hoag Lee (Parker), Matthew Quinn, Jessica Hoag, Allison Quinn and Alexander Hoag; and her great grandchild Cameron Rasweiler.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (444 York Rd, Jenkintown, PA 19046).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to one of Ellen's valued organizations, which include Grace Presbyterian Church and the ACTS Legacy Fund (Spring House Estates, 728 Norristown Road, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002).
