It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha J. Brooks (Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Forster and Myrtle Forster (Pauling); her husband E. Byron Brooks; her son Byron E. "By" Brooks; and her siblings, George Forster, Robert Forster, Donald Forster, Ellie Young and William Forster.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Regina Brooks of Ulysses, PA; her grandchildren, Gretchen Brooks of Ulysses, PA, Erich Brooks (Shawna) of Ulysses, PA, Heidi O'Neil (Joshua) of Lawrenceville, PA and Alyson Brooks of Ulysses, PA; her great grandchildren, Breanna, Blake, Beth, Brielle, Braelyn Brooks, Reilly, Payton, Ethan and Kelton O'Neil; and her grandson Rev. Erich Brooks. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
