He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Barkman and Margaret Barkman (Fluke); and his daughters, Christine Marie and Jody Lynne. He is survived by : his wife Shirlee S. Barkman (Moltz); his daughters, Beth G. Finn of Lock Haven and Sally A. Barkman of Reedsville, PA; his grandchildren, Chelsey N. Huff of Williamsport and Logan G. Huff of Linden; his great grandchildren, Violet B Huff and Amelia D. Huff; and his sisters, Erla Rodgers of Montoursville and Maxine Newvine of Montoursville.

In lieu of flowers, Richard and his family would like donations made to Wreaths Across America or the Korean War Veterans Honor Guard.
