He was predeceased by: his grandson Joshua Merryman; his parents, Omar Markle, and Helen Markle, Sr. (Race); and his siblings, Flora Fetzer and Omar Markle, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Fave; his children, Holly Temple (Robert) of Bellefonte, R. Scott Markle of Carlisle and Lori Hoy (Brian) of Lock Haven; his grandchildren, Ashley Merryman (Nik), Zach Thomas, Noah and Elijah Markle; and his great grandchild Jocelyn Merryman.
Flowers will be graciously accepted by the family, or donations can be made in Ron's name to Independent Hose Company No. 1, 130 Pennsylvania Ave., Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
