He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Bierly and Ferol Romaine Kramer Bierly; and his sisters, Anne Bierly Todd and Romaine "Sparky" Weber. He is survived by: his wife Donna Rae Calhoun; his children, Mark W. Bierly of Lock Haven and Beth Peters (Dan) of New Mexico; his grandson Brett McCloskey (Kirstin) of Lock Haven; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Violet McCloskey; his nieces, Kae Weber and Hazel Weaver (Mike); and his nephew George Weber (Laura).
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to help Veterans to Friends of the Pittsburgh Fisher House, c/o Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
