It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Martz Sr. of Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Martz and Eva Martz (Starr); his former wife Elizabeth Martz (Novak); his son William J. Martz, Jr.; his stepdaughter Barbara Pugh; and his brother Frederick Martz.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Martz (Jones); his daughters, Eva Paulhamus (Jake) and Lisa Kormanic (Jason); his stepchildren, Edward Whitman (Cathy) and Patty Badman (Todd); his stepson-in-law Lee Pugh; and his sister Evelyn Bachman. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (5973 Jacks Hollow Rd, Williamsport, PA 17701).
