He is survived by: his wife Deborah Wisneski Thier; his children, Whitney Thier of Coral Gables, Florida, Antony Thier of Marin County, California and Alex Thier of Washington, D. C.; his grandchildren, Dalton, Charlie, Hannah, Izzy and Bodhi; and his brother Norman Thier of Boca Raton.
