She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Diane Smolko; her grandchildren, John H. Smolko (Jennifer), Krista Soltis (Matthew), Rose Cartwright and Sarah Cartwright; her great grandchildren, Tyler John Smolko and Olivia Tillie Smolko; and her brother Eugene Russin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
