He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Parana and Anna Gluch Parana; his sons, Brian Parana and Daniel Parana; his grandson Seth Parana; and his siblings, Joseph Parana, John Parana, Anna Parana, Mary Ann Kreckel, Patricia Peterson, Helen Wickett, Agnes Manno and Kathryn Kocjancic.
He is survived by: his wife Dee; his children, Brenda Cleer (Mike Rich) of Kane, Robert Parana of Wilcox and David Parana (Emily) of Kane; his daughter-in-law Cindy Parana of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Marisa Cleer (Brayden), Kevin Cleer, Kate Parana, Matt Parana, Brett Parana (Hannah) and Katrina Parana; and his brother Thomas Parana (Carol) of Johnsonburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
