He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret M. Hoover; his parents, John and Edith (Reese); his brother Dale Lindenmuth Sr.; his daughter Cynthia A. Lindenmuth; his granddaughter Bethany N. Sycalik; and his great grandchild Theodore J. Cuneo.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Herbstritt (Tim), G. Scott Lindenmuth (Alison) of St. Marys and Debra Sycalik (Kevin) of DuBois; his grandchildren, Kyle (Becca), Jeffrey, Zachary, Nicholas Herbstritt, Steven (Paola), Lindsay Slattery (Rashad), Grace Cuneo (Tyler), P. Gregory (Trisha), Maggie Sycalik, Matthew Lindenmuth (Kate) and Rebecca Miles; his great grandchildren, Violette, Maci, Atlas, Malachi, Eveleya, Oliver, Kason, Elliott, Sylas, Adalyn and Holden; his brother-in-law John Hoover; his nephew Dale Lindenmuth Jr.; his niece Karen Brem (Mark); his great-nephew Jacob; and his close friend Marilyn.
