She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Essig and Louise Wettearer Essig; and her siblings, Wolfgang Essig, Gabriella and Renate.

She is survived by: her husband Frank V. Sannicolas; her children, Ralph J. Chubbuck, III (Brandi) of Johnsonburg and Nicole Chubbuck of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Connor Chubbuck, Chris McMillen and Keenan McMillen.
