She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Paul and Marie Agnes Swanger (Blawn); her husband George Lopez, Jr.; her son George Lopez III; her stepdaughter Cindy Young (Tinker); her brothers, Philip Swanger, Jr. (Ann), Lawrence Swanger (Dot), John "Jack" Swanger (Liz), Raymond Swanger (Carol) and Norbert Swanger; and her sister-in-law Rosie Villafane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Brazil (Walt), Jacalyn Mardirossian (Kevork) and Phyllis Lopez (Edgar Juarez); her grandchildren, Matthew Brazil (Danielle), Samantha Brazil, Hourig Mardirossian, Tanya Mardirossian, Savannah Hernandez, Adalyn Juarez, Selena Young (Tyler) and Jeremy Young; her great grandchildren, Gianna Brazil, Charlie Rae Brazil, Deven Young, Logyn Young, Taegyn Young and Brooklyn Miller; her godson John Swanger, Jr. (Vicki); and her sisters-in-law, Janice Swanger, Margie Sexton (John) and Vickie Hopkins (Bob). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Hindman Funeral Homes (1521 Frankstown Rd, Johnstown, PA 15902). Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Home (1521 Frankstown Rd, Johnstown, PA 15902). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
