She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Topscher and Irene Topscher (Kucera); her husband Stephen R. Sakmar; her sons, David and Thomas; her grandchildren, Aaron, Jill and Kristie; and her siblings, Maxine Ling and Stephen Topcher.
She is survived by: her children, Philip (Elizabeth), Nancy (late Paul Turnley) of Wexford, Jane (Jim Spisak) and Donna (John Foster Wallace) of Fairbanks, AK. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
