She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Boothman and Beulah Boothman (Byrnes); her husband Ralph E. Hillegass; her pet Patches; and her brothers, Robert and Gerald.

She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Erin), Howard and Scott; and her siblings, Wanda, Leona, Peg, Norma, Darlene and Cliff. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
