He is survived by: his wife Julia (Yuhas); his daughter Amanda (Whitney Menarcheck) of Pittsburgh; his pet Ziggy; his brothers, Keith D. and Duane B.; and his nephew Keane of Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Family House (Pittsburgh) in his honor.
