Barry Hobson Obituary

Lost his long battle with cancer and departed into the hands of GOD in his hometown of Johnstown PA, Preceded in death by parents Ray E and Marion Thomas Hobson and his beloved Wife Connie Sedmock Morrison Hobson. He will be deeply missed by sister RuthAnn (Don) Gray, who cared for him during his extended illness, brother Ray (Jennifer) Hobson - Canton OH.

He is survived by three sons Eric, Virginia Beach, Dustin Martinsburg WVA, Daniel Manassas VA, Grandchildren Nicholas, Elizabeth and Madelyn Morrison, MaKayleigh and Carlie Hobson. Barry was very close to Nephews Stephen (Jill) Ling and Bruce (Jill) Hobson and he dearly loved Nathaniel and Taylor Ling (his little Angels).

Barry, a graduate of Johnstown Vo-Tech, relocated to Falls Church & Manassas, VA where he made a career as an appliance technician, followed by special needs school bus driver, which was the highlight of his life. The children adored Barry and the love was mutual. A kind pleasant loving man who never met a stranger, Barry was especially appreciated for his sense of humor, touched many lives and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
