He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Mroczka and Elizabeth M. Mroczka (Karan); his siblings, Carol and David; and his grandparents, John, Josephine Mroczka (Kaminski), Nicholas and Anna Harchar-Karan (Rosko).

He is survived by: his brothers, Raymond (MaryAnn), Richard (Lourdes) and William. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In memory of Bernie, donations may be directed to Stephen and Kristi Mroczka, for the future education of Harper and Renzley.
