She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Shier and Marguerite Shier (McCarty); her husband William A.; and her brother Donald Shier. She is survived by: her sons, William D. of Richland, Timothy D. of Richland and Thomas D. of Richland; her grandchildren, Timothy D. Jr. and Amanda M. Castagnero (Matthew) of Vienna, VA; and her great grandchildren, Mia Eggert, William and Evan Castagnero. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
