Birgit Crowell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Birgit Crowell (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Weitzel and Dorothea Weitzel (Stroetmann); and her brother Uli Ludwig. She is survived by: her husband Paul R. Crowell; her sons, Jefferson, Eric (Kathleen), Aaron (Ashleigh) and Daniel Crowell; her grandchildren, Noah, Lillian, Leo and Kade; and her siblings, Jochen Weitzel (Elke), Brigitta Ernst, Joachim Ernst and Angelika Trassl (Michael). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests contributions be directed to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Birgit.
