She was predeceased by: her parents, James P Sr. Thompson and Irene B. Thompson (Strayer); and her sister Susan I. Lehman. She is survived by: her son Jason D. Varnish (Julie); her grandchildren, Jack of Pittsburgh and Addison Varnish of Pittsburgh; her siblings, James P. Thompson Jr. (Carolyn), Diane E. Gvozdich (George), Ronald L. Thompson (Darla), David B. Thompson (Denise) and Scott A. Thompson (Teresa); and her brother-in-law Thomas Lehman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
