He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Schmid and Joyce Schmid; and his brother Brad Schmid. He is survived by: his sons, Zach and Zane Schmid; the mother of his children Gina Dyda-Schmid; his siblings, Randy Schmid and Sandy Crespi (Frank); his sister-in-law Joanne Eritano Schmid; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Schmid, Derrick Schmid, Jan Schmid, Jordan Crespi and Jackie Leckey. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
