He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Benjamin Sr. and Athalene Edmiston (Hofecker). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Edmiston (Stoner); and his children, Dr. Dawn Edmiston-Strasser, Dr. Christopher Strasser of Somerset and Michelle Lee Richards (Edmiston) of Richland Township.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hope Lodge (11432 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland, OH 44106), where Ben was supported during his cancer treatments.
