She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Querry and Hazel Querry (Wisor); her husband William (Bill); and her siblings, Doris E. Stravers, Betty L. Long and Chester R. Querry (Bud).
She is survived by: her children, Karl M. Chapple (Nancy Ford), Scott C. Chapple (Billie Jo Szuch), Brian J. Chapple (Dawn Perry) and Brenda J. Chapple-Fulton; her close friend Michael Stanley; her grandchildren, Erik Chapple, Melissa Stoner, Shelly Chapple (Colby Clements), Jason Chapple, Logan Diamond (Neil Diamond), Brady Keane (Kyle Keane) and Levi Miller; her great grandchild Brody; her grandchildren, Chase, Eli, Hanna, Joseph Dean, Kellen, Nora, Michael and Thomas; and her stepgranddaughters, Megan Kerner (Josh McHenry) and Valerie Kerner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber or Belmont United Methodist Church in memory of Carolyn E. Chapple.
