The passing of Catherine M. Stephens of Johnstown, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 27, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Hanzek and Anna Hanzek (Turkovich); her husband John Jack; her children, Cathy and John; her grandchildren, Sherry and Shawn; her children-in-law, Michelle (Gibson) and Chester Cheroki; and her siblings, Stephen, Butch, Frank, Joe Hanzek, Liz Rummel and Lucy Lobi.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth, Joseph, Mary Cheroki and Anna Stephens; her brother John Hanzek; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Uncapher and Sue Stephens. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905).
