He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde D. Sr. Clawson and Elizabeth Jayne "Betty" Clawson (Sievers); his wife Sally Clawson (Steepe); his daughter Tammy Clawson; his grandson Ben Snyder; his siblings, Kenneth, Fred, Robert Clawson and Betty Jayne Evans; and his brother-in-law David Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Marcie Snyder, David Clawson (Marilyn), Sally (Brian Vogel) and Thomas Clawson (Mary Jo); his siblings, John Clawson and Emilie (Dwight Hinton); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Clawson and Patsy Clawson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 219 Ohio St, Johnstown, PA 15902. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:25 AM at the same location.
