He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sylvester Sr. and Edna Keafer (Stahl); his wife Genevieve Keafer (Bench); and his siblings, Dwight S. Keafer, Lloyd S. Keafer Jr., Eleanor K. Mock and Anna Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Keafer of Pickerington, OH, Yvonne Keafer of Pittsburgh and Lucinda Custer (Thomas) of York, PA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
