He is survived by: his children, Anthony Niel of Johnstown and Kristina Niel of Georgia; his grandchildren, Jayden, Liliana, Mia and Jordan; his stepmother Patricia Niel; his stepson Robert Hanik; and his siblings, Janice Albert, Sandy Miller, Jody Niel, Wayne Niel and Steve Niel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
However, donations may be made to the family in memory of David Niel.
