He is survived by: his siblings, Sally (Michael Sandherr) of Heber City, UT, Kevin Michael of Dublin, OH and Michele L. (Bert Axelson) of Belfast, ME; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Sandherr (Kimberly) of Naples, FL, Sarah Rigard (Garrett) of Salt Lake City, UT, Abbey of Murrysville, PA and Annika Axelson of Murrysville, PA; and his great-nieces, Grace Sandherr and Lydia Rigard.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (500 Cherry Ln, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family suggests contributions be directed to Concordia at Arbutus Park, 207 Ottawa St, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of David.
