She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hammer and Ruth Hammer (Walker); her husband Samuel; and her sister Barbara Emmel. She is survived by: her sons, Scott (Kathleen) and Mark (Misty); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Marian and Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
