He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Aurandt and Elsie Q. Aurandt (Leidy); his son Charles; and his siblings, Carl and Dorothy (Alex Lynch).

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Packech); his son David; and his brother George (Betty). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
