It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine R. Tarbay of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Kaufman and Agnes Kaufman (Varner); her husband Francis Tarbay; her stepdaughter Frances Tarbay; and her granddaughter Cheryl Fern.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey, Mark and Jennifer (Kenneth); her sisters, Delores, Betty, Carol and Linda; and her stepchildren, Mary Ann, Nancy, Sharon, Donna and Thomas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
