She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Maurer and Mary Maurer (Kostick); her husband James E. Thomas; her siblings, Stephen Maurer (Laverne), Mary Repak (George) and Helen Lovrich; and her brother-in-law George Todorich.

She is survived by: her children, James J. Thomas (Cathy), Joyce M. Cerula and Stephen Thomas (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Anna Gladhill, Ivan Thomas, Jeffrey Cerula, Stephanie Cerula, Sarah Crone, Catherine Hollander and Stephen Thomas; and her siblings, Martha Todorich and Thomas Maurer (Gertrude). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
