She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Smith and Esther Smith (Emigh); her husband James R.; and her sisters, Earla, Vivian, Darlene and Shirley.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Marol (Ronald) of Johnstown, Loretta McKendree of Johnstown and James W. McKendree (April) of Ebensburg; her grandchildren, Ronald Marol, Megan Sanderson and Gina Zackharin; and her great grandchildren, Brenna, Angelo, Gianna, Harper and Avery.
