It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fern A. Nyland of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Nyland; her daughter Catherine Nyland; and her brothers, Ralph and Robert Rice. She is survived by: her children, Verna E. Rice (Speicher), Terry, T. J. and John; her grandchildren, Janet, Abigail, Jason and Ashley; and her sister Ruth Rice. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donations may be made to Oakland United Methodist Church in her memory.
