He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, James John Sexton and Mildred Elizabeth Sexton (Rafferty); and his daughter Michelle Lisbeth "Micki B" Harkcom. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Elisabeth Burnheimer (Sexton); his son Michael James Burnheimer "Mike" (Zita Marie); his grandchildren, Robert Sexton Burnheimer "Rob", Sara Marie Gardner (Casey Gardner), Stephen Forrest Burnheimer, Jeremy William Burnheimer and Margaret Mildred "Maggie" Burnheimer; his great grandchildren, Luke Anthony Gardner, Ariella Miah-Olivia Burnheimer and Christian Zane Gardner; and also Anita Polenik.
