He was predeceased by: his father John J. Marple; his brother Richard Marple; and his granddaughter Tracy. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Marple (Gardner); his children, Beverly Clayton (Thomas), Lawrence Marple (Pamela) and Michael Marple (Bessie); and his grandchildren, John, George II, Haley, Lauren, Chase, James, Tiffany, Tyler and Hailey. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
