She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. and Mary C. Salat (Benyacko); her brother John A. Salat; and her husband Carl J. Gladys. She is survived by: her children, Carl M. (Stephanie) and Deanna M. (Thomas Hill) of Portsmouth, VA; her grandchildren, Tyler Gladys, Daycia Gladys and Shyla Hill; and her brothers, Andrew (Joy) and Robert J. Salat (Mary).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Glenda.
