He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Valentine Picking Dutchyshyn; and his children, Ann (James Sweeney-President) of PathAI Diagostics, Harry Jr. (Robin) and John Douglas (Suzanne). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to United States Military Academy West Point Association of Graduates the Long Gray Line Fund, or the Shriners Children's Fund.
