It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Brawley of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shaffer and Pauline Shaffer (Christner); her husband Robert; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Dyson, Randall (Joyce Fyock), Glenda Harris (Michael) and Michael (Lorrie Roberts); her granddaughter Melissa (Doug Deyarmin); her children, Amanda Brawley, Scott Brawley, Laura (Norwin Sevilla), Jeffrey (Samantha Bennett), Connie (James Cheskey), Kevin Harris, Evan Brawley and Luke Brawley; and her siblings, Anna Whyte, Barbara Stanton, Robert Shaffer and Lucy Kovac. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home (215 Central Ave, Johnstown, PA 15902).
