Helen Gilchrist Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gilchrist (Johnstown, Pennsylvania), born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Yost and Louise Yost (Ruch); her husband Robert M. Gilchrist; her son Lance R.; her siblings, Fred Sr., Albert, Edward, Herbert, Bertha, Gladys, Ruth Yost and Eleanor Dishong; and her daughter-in-law Diane Reznar.

She is survived by : her sons, Keith D. of Wisconsin, Barry R. (Julia) and Duane B. of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Keane of Wisconsin, Christine of Pittsburgh and Amanda Helen (Whitney Menarcheck) of Pittsburgh; her niece Edie Heverly; and her nephew Harry Dishong. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions all services will be private.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
