She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Alexander L Thompson and Laura E. Thompson (Gutherie); her husband Donald; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Robert A. and Kathy Rand (Drew); her sister Ann Kyler of Johnstown; her grandchildren, Chris MacDowell (Jiyhun), Andy Rand (Alexis), Katie MacDowell (Tom) and Meghan Rand; and her great grandchild Abby MacDowell.

Donations may be made to Cambria County Humane Society.
