With solemn reverence, we commemorate Herman Cowan of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on November 17, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cowan and Florence Cowan (Barker); his brother Robert; and his grandson Zachary. He is survived by: his wife Flo (Bodenschatz); his children, Richard (Debra Good), Raymond (Janette Rullo), Jeanie, Kathy (Scott Miller) and Berni (Bruce Goodwin); his grandchildren, Chris, Molly, Ryan, Vanessa, Eric, Lauren, Matt, Jennifer, Brian Omahne, Samantha, Christopher Hartland, Kristen, Kevin Brandel, Meg and Kelsey; and his great grandchildren, Caleigh, Andrew, Colby, Mckinley, Camdyn, Jocelyn, Jordyn, Joy, Shane and Grant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors & friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home-Westmont (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clement Catholic Church (114 Lindberg Ave, Johnstown, PA 15905).
